What the Hell Happened Today?
A two-hour Nukkad Natak disaster, a questionable scooter expedition, a fraudulent 12-inch pizza, and the decision to finally lock in.

We had a holiday today.§
It’s August 26, 2026, which marks Eid Milad-un-Nabi, so we had a holiday from school today. Or so I thought. Turns out that I thought the Nukkad Natak debacles were over, but I was very wrong. Our team and the other team from 9th had arranged a practice session for 10 AM to 12 PM. So, out of pure helplessness, I had to go and attend. We started practice at about 30 minutes past 10, and the practice continued till 12:30-ish. When we actually started rehearsing, the first bottleneck was the entries for me (Trump) and the CM of Bihar. The CM of Bihar (we'll refer to him as Bob) couldn't enter onto the stage properly, so I had to teach him. After five agonizing minutes filled with insults and anger, he finally entered onto the stage properly.
Then Bob did it again. And again. And again. At this point, I was convinced that he could do it in his sleep. Then came the arguments. Our group has zero potential. In a previous article, I proudly said that this group had the most potential out of all the other groups. I stand corrected.
Today, the members started discussing what food to order and what drink to get. They finally agreed on ordering pizza and Diet Coke in school. That is right. In school.
This so-called Nukkad has lost its entire Nukkad essence and has completely transformed into a Gen Z dance + insult collage. At some point, I genuinely stopped understanding what we were even doing. We had been given two hours to rehearse, and somehow we had managed to turn the rehearsal into a combination of arguing, insulting each other, deciding what to eat, and occasionally remembering that we were supposed to be preparing for an actual performance.
And honestly? That was the moment I started thinking about something else. Maybe I’m wasting too much energy on this. Not just on Nukkad. On people. On arguments. On trying to get everyone to do things properly.
On caring about what other people are doing, what they're saying, who's annoying me, who's acting like the boss, and who isn't pulling their weight. Because at the end of the day, none of that actually moves me forward. I can't control how other people behave. I can't control whether someone wants to take the rehearsal seriously. I can't control whether people want to argue for thirty minutes over something completely irrelevant. What I can control is myself. So maybe it's time to stop trying to fix everyone else and start fixing my own shit. It's time to lock in. But before that happened, there was still the small matter of three idiots, a TVS Orbiter, Diet Coke, and what was advertised as a twelve-inch pizza...
