Writing

This is not a blog in the sense that word has come to mean. There is no schedule, no cadence, and nothing here was written because it had been a while. Each piece exists because something was worth working out in public — an idea I could not finish thinking privately, a mistake that cost enough to be worth describing, or a decision whose reasoning would otherwise have evaporated by the time I needed it again.

Nothing gets deleted for being wrong. A piece from 2026 that turns out to be badly reasoned stays exactly where it is, because its value was never its correctness — it is evidence of what one version of me believed, and a later version can be measured against it. Read in order, that is what this section is for: not a set of conclusions, but the record of someone arriving at them, revising them, and occasionally discovering he had the whole thing backwards.
